Description

Mechanism of action

Collagen is a significant component in tissue regeneration, and it is the natural substrate for adhesion, growth and differentiation of connective tissue cells. The type-1 soluble collagen is commonly used as cell stimulator in regenerative procedures. Heterologous Type I Collagen (HTIC), known as Linerase is the only product capable of stimulating the formation of new fibroblasts and consequent production of new collagen. Linerase Collagen gets hydrolyzed completely in amino acids and tripeptides. Tripeptides act as Dermal Growth Factors and on one hand inhibit the action of metalloproteinase while on the other hand stimulate the formation of new fibroblasts. Amino acids are being used by the new fibroblasts for the formation of collagen type III. Consequently, Linerase supplements dermal biorevitalization and assists the regeneration and reconstruction of connective tissue in the dermis providing perfect conditions for the physiological neo-formation of collagen.

Indications

This Medical Device is indicated for adult patients with skin atrophy, skin hypotonia and reduced skin elasticity due to congenital malformations or post-traumatic skin lesions.

Procedure

This Medical Device must be brought in suspension immediately before use, in water for injection (WFI) or sterile normal saline (0,9% sodium chloride solution), at a ratio of 100 mg collagen to 5 ml. Once you get the suspension, the product must be used immediately, and any residue should be discarded. The device is disposable for single use. The product is administered through intradermal injection. Use the appropriate size needles from 30G 4mm to 30 G 12 mm. To ensure a perfect seal and prevent leakage during administration, make sure that the needle is firmly seated on the syringe.

HTIC Protocol

One session every 14 days for 4 sessions Maintenance treatment One session every two months. This Medical Device should be used by professional medical users with knowledge of the indicated pathologies with specific training for injection techniques and a good knowledge of the physiology of the treated area. It is a non allergenic product. The use of the product is not recommended for: Paediatric population; Pregnant or breastfeeding women; Injection into blood vessels (intravascular); Purposes other than its intended use It should also not be used: In patients with epilepsy not controlled by treatment; In patients with tendency to develop hypertrophic scars; In patients with known hypersensitivity to collagen; In patients with porphyria; In areas presenting inflammatory and / or infectious processes (acne , herpes , etc.); In immediate association with laser treatment, chemical peel or dermabrasion.
